I am very excited to share the news with you that my first cookbook, “Plant-Based Himalaya” will be out this coming fall 2022.

“Plant-Based Himalaya” is a collection of 38 unique Nepali vegan cuisines, stunning photography of the food/vegetables/landscapes/culture, as well as relevant information about Nepal. Vegan food does not have to be flavorless, boring, or just salads. That is why I have carefully picked my favorite recipes that I have been cooking and eating since I was a child.

For my first book, I wanted it to be a kitchen gem full of mouthwatering plant-based dishes that can be enjoyed with family and friends all year round. I strongly believe cooking has healing power. Cooking is like a meditation when you add focus and include the right ingredients. These recipes can help you make a difference in your life. You will learn to use ancient ayurvedic spices, hopefully leading to fewer trips to the doctor and more visits to your gardens. These recipes contain all the vitamins you need to live a healthy lifestyle that I have been practicing for over 30 years.
