Feed your skin with love.
They say “You are what you eat.” I also say “You are what you put on your skin.” Most of you are either blinded by the make-up industry or simply don’t know about all the homemade plant-based remedies out there to keep your skin glowing. That’s OK! That’s why you have me!
I was introduced to vegan beauty as a child because my mother was into all sorts of herbal & organic concoctions. I didn’t have to do much then but over time I’ve learned how your skin communicates with you. This Turmeric face pack is my go-to skin treatment because it gives a radiant, sun-kissed glow, especially for tan skin.
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric (1/4 if you have fair skin)
- 1 teaspoon of agave
- 4 drops of lemon
- 1 brush
Take a clean glass bowl.
Mix them all together and make a paste.
Apply that to in your skin with your fingertips or a brush.
Don't throw away the extra paste but apply it to your neck and hands.
Let it sit for 15 -20 minutes.
Now, gently massage your face with some luke warm water.
Wash your face with room temperature water.
Apply some coconut oil or your choice of lotion.
Use a paper towel to wipe your face so that all the extra yellowness won't stick to your favorite towels or washcloths. Turmeric has dark pigment so make sure you clean your skin with a little bit of coconut oil after you wash your face.
